Field welding has been part of Merit Iron since 1999 — it’s the first thing on our Facebook page: quality full-service welding since ’99.
We bring the welders and equipment to the job for fit-up, repairs, modifications and installs that can’t come to the shop, from Winnipeg sites to remote northern communities.

Do you travel outside Winnipeg?
Yes — across Manitoba and into Northern Canada. Our Cross Lake pergola is one example.
Can you weld pressure piping?
Merit Iron reports it is near completion of pressure welding certification. Call to check the current status before booking pressure work.
Do you weld HVAC systems?
Yes, HVAC system welding and installation is part of our field work.
