Weights are estimates based on the published table. Stock availability, tolerances and actual weights must be confirmed with your supplier.

About the catalogue & source checks

Sizes and weights are taken from Brunswick Steel’s reference catalogue, retrieved November 4, 2026. Page links use the PDF page number; the printed page is two lower. Metric rates are converted from the published imperial weights. Expanded metal weights published per 100 square feet are normalized to lb/sq ft.

  • The rectangular HSS 14 × 10 row with weight 76.07 lb/ft has no wall thickness in the source and is excluded.
  • The PDF’s visible rebar table contains plate data. Rebar sizes in the selector use a separately linked AGF reference; they are not an import of that damaged table.
  • All-thread rod has an inconsistent weight-unit heading in the source. Its linear basis is inferred and flagged. Safety Grip has no published weight, so its entries show dimensions only.
  • Source typos and unusual dimensions are flagged where found. Use source drawings and supplier confirmation for final specifications. Grating load and deflection tables remain available in the linked source pages.

Carbon steel at 7,850 kg/m³ (0.2836 lb/in³). Theoretical weight — mill tolerances and corner radii change real weights slightly. Angle uses sharp corners.
